Intro to Patchwork

This intro to patchwork class will introduce you to your* sewing machine! You will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread your sewing machine, change a needle, switch and practice stitches, and practice sewing in a straight line. I'll be walking you through creating easy patchwork to make a set of quilted coasters! Whether your style is boho or high art, basic fabric piecing is simple and straightforward. Create a modern crazy quilt or engineered and precise blocks to suit your aesthetic!

Please note: You'll need your own machine*, plus your basic sewing kit, including thread, needles and pins for this class. A rotary cutter is advised!

Fee DOES NOT include the use of a sewing machine! Please bring your own! I am happy to advise on machine loaner or purchase.

This class is BYOB, and drinking, (or eating, if you’d like to bring snacks), are always options!

I am dedicated to offering stress free, stress reducing art classes that are fun, no matter what your art experience may be! 

While you go at your own rate in all my classes, this tends to be a slow process class.
