Machine Sewing Basics

Machine sewing basics will introduce you to your* sewing machine! You will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread your sewing machine, change a needle, switch and practice stitches, and practice sewing in a straight line. I'll be walking you through the EASY way of inserting a zipper for your basic pouch. Use that newfound knowledge for fun and personalized accessory bags! 

Please note: You'll need your own machine*, plus your basic sewing kit, including thread, needles and pins for this class.

Fee DOES NOT include the use of a sewing machine! Please bring your own! I am happy to advise on machine loaner or purchase.

This class is BYOB, and drinking, (or eating, if you’d like to bring snacks), are always options!

While you go at your own rate in all my classes, this tends to be a slow process class.
